Sture Lidén's Private Collection
History
Lidén was active in the Uppsala South Africa Committee (USAK) and Uppsala Africa Group (UAG) in the 1960s and 1970s. Later he became a journalist at the Sala Allehanda, the local paper in Sala.
Contents
The material in his care consists mainly of documents from USAK and UAG, which has been delivered to the Uppsala People’s Movements Archive in Uppsala. It also contains photo negatives from different USAK and UAG activities, such as demonstrations, meetings with liberation front leaders and money collecting in the streets.
