Generation Exodus? NAI researchers Jesper Bjarnesen and Papa Sow are collaborating with CODESRIA to organize a 1,5 day workshop on youth mobility in West Africa.

Young people from the region are often portrayed as driven by desires to leave the continent and search for opportunities elsewhere, but these narratives do not reflect the real dynamics of migration and mobility in the subregion.

The workshop aims to explore the experiences and aspirations of young West Africans on the move and provide a space for research and policy thinking on this important theme.
