Researcher explores the psychological impact of Cyclone Freddy

Researcher Nick Tembo.

Nick Tembo is Professor of English in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Malawi. He currently holds the Claude Ake Visiting Chair at the Nordic Africa Institute and Uppsala University’s Department of Peace and Conflict Research. The primary focus of Tembo’s research is in trauma and memory studies and his thematic fields include holocaust and genocide studies, childhood studies, child soldier narratives, African life writing, and social media technologies.
