Kajsa Hallberg Adu has 10 years of experience teaching communication, literature and social studies at a liberal arts college in Ghana. Her research interests turn towards the future as she studies youth in Ghana and beyond, migration, knowledge societies including decolonizing higher education, the intersection of freedoms, Internet and democratization.

Kajsa Hallberg Adu holds a Ph.D. degree in African Studies (University of Ghana) and a Master’s degree in Political Science (Uppsala University, Sweden).

Outside her scholarly work, Kajsa is a mother, blogger and activist.
