Over the past decade, the Nordic countries have strengthened their relationship with African states and societies by supporting the African Peace and Security Architecture and promoting African involvement in conflict prevention, mediation, peacekeeping, and peacebuilding efforts. This is one of the main conclusions drawn in a new report on African-Nordic peace and security cooperation from the Nordic Africa Institute (NAI) and the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs (NUPI).
