Contested land reform in Zimbabwe
New book in the Africa Now series
The image of the Fast-Track Land Reform in Zimbabwe has often been that of the widespread displacement and subsequent replacement of various people. The new book in NAI series 'Africa Now', co-published with Zed Books, shows a different perspective. Among other things it explores how the land reform has created a new agrarian structure based on small- to medium-scale farmers, and the authors argue that this can improve Zimbabwe’s agriculture and development.
