In his latest work “Political Posters in Uganda External link, opens in new window.”, Kristof Titeca has gathered and extensively analyzed a collection of posters produced in the streets of Nassar Road in Kampala. Osama Bin Laden and Saddam Hussein are portrayed in colorful images as Robocop and other Hollywood action heroes, as a demonstration of the opposition of the common men to Western imperialism.

Deep dive into the layers that underly this complex social phenomenon at an exhilarating discussion with distinguished scholars.
