The Nordic Africa Institute

Consult a librarian

Need help with finding information resources on Africa? Book one of our librarians for a 30 minute consultation.

During a half-hour appointment you will receive an introduction to our digital and physical library, assistance in finding the best keywords for your information search, or advice on useful internet sources. This service also caters to students with special needs.

We do consultations on-site in our library, more handy if you are based in Uppsala, or via Zoom if you prefer that.

Guidance on how to use our resources per distance.

The guidance will be tailored towards your specific field of interest and be focused on accessible resources.

We use Zoom as a digital tool and share screens for best guidance.

About Zoom and integrity: NAI utilizes the NORDUnet Zoom, with stricter security. Traffic is encrypted, but we still recommend that you do not share any sensitive or confidential information during the Zoom call. These consultations can be carried out in a group if there are others who share your area of interest.

Apart from the general information above, let us know how many are coming, so we can allocate our resources better.

Would it suffice to receive help via e-mail?
