NAI’s annual report stands chance to win prize
‘Africa in Uncertain Times’, NAI’s annual report 2009, has been nominated in the communication contest Svenska Publishing-Priset.
The report is competing in the category for annual reports by organizations. Populär Kommunikation has since the beginning of the 1990s awarded the Svenska Publishing-Priset. The competition is divided into various categories dealing with printed communication.
The prize intends to reward entries that apart from displaying a good graphic design and well-made typography also entice further reading. Key words are a clear and visible message, an informative content, a successful target audience adjustment and a clear identity.
Christian Palme (former communications officer at NAI) produced ‘Africa in Uncertain Times’ together with Lottie Hallqvist (AD) and Jonas Hallqvist (AD) from Graffoto AB.
The report deals with the drastic changes facing Africa’s economic and political position in the world. Previously, economic growth on the continent was significantly stronger. After the financial crisis the conditions have changed. Simultaneously, there is a global shift in economic power from West to East in which new superpowers are entering. NAI’s annual report 2009 reflects on some of the new challenges Africa is currently facing.
This year’s winners will be announced at Svenska Publishing-Galan on Monday October 25 at the Stockholm Concert Hall. All the nominated newspapers, journals, books and other printed material will be on display at the Göteborg Book Fair.
