The New Africa
The last decade 17 African countries have shown an economic growth of 3,5 per cent. What does this mean for Swedish opportunities in business, export and trade? NAI researcher Måns Fellesson was one of the speakers at Entreprenörskapsforums breakfast seminar 2 October.
– Rewarding trade relations demand qualified knowledge. Africa has a rising demographic trend, in contrast to Europe, and a growing middleclass that craves education, says Måns Fellesson.
There are also challenges such as few learning institutions with lacking quality and weak research capacity. Swedish business community can respond to these challenges. Måns Fellesson also believes that Swedish aid could invest in higher education.
