Why you need a card

If you already have an Uppsala University Library card

The NAI library has its own library card, but for Uppsala University Library users we offer the possibility instead to register with their card. You however still need to fill out the application form (link above).

Interlibrary loans

Those living outside Uppsala can borrow materials from us through interlibrary loans – via their local library.

Returning your loans

We have a book drop where you can safely return books, even outside of our opening hours. It's found on the wall towards the parking lot, just around the corner on your right when standing in front of our main entrance.

Since we reside within the Uppsala Botanical garden, you also need to observe the garden opening hours. Its gates are open daily:

  • May-September: 7:00-21:00
  • October-April: 7:00-19:00
