Family relations, intergenerational conflicts and the impact of migration on the organisation of families are recurrent themes in social science research. In recent years, they have been approached from new angles, however, which do not necessarily see migration as a negative impact on those left behind, which explores new tendencies and practices in migration flows, and which scrutinise family relations through the lenses of social categories that are often forgotten such as children, youth and elderly. It is inherently difficult to make available links to web sites with general information since this is context specific, hence we suggest to make a search at Google Scholar.
